BeginnerThis Mini Tots coaching course is indoors at Oakgrove Primary School for children aged 3-4 years old who are in the first stages of their tennis development.
Term Begins: Monday 5th January 2026

Parking: Oakgrove School provides over 150 parking spaces, including a designated disabled bay. The car park is conveniently situated close to the school’s facilities, which can be accessed via the nearby pedestrian gate. To reach the Main Hall, use the pedestrian gate to the left of the main school reception, next to the overflow car park. Once through the gate, take an immediate right to enter the Main Hall.
In our Mini Tots sessions we give the players an introduction to tennis through fun games and exercises designed to develop co-ordination and athletic ability.
All the equipment and rackets will be provided by the club.
Parents may be required to accompany their child on court at the beginning, if the coach deems it necessary.
Throughout the term we will teach your child how to swing their racket correctly for a forehand, backhand and volley. For our most advanced tots we will start to work on movement to the ball, before stopping and playing their shot, and recovery to a central position.
