TENNIS COURSES - Letchworth Tennis Club - Summer 2026

  • Letchworth Sports and Tennis Club is a 12-court tennis club situated in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. It has 3 indoor courts, 4 outdoor carpet, 3 artificial clay and 1 hard court which are all floodlit. The club also has a gym, cafe/bar and squash courts.

    LSTC has club, development and performance coaching programmes, allowing for a complete pathway from beginner to advanced play. The club has not only produced a number of county, national and international players over the years, but also plays a large role within the surrounding community.

    Tennis Club Membership - All courses with the exception of Mini Tots and all adult courses require membership to Letchworth Sports and Tennis Club in order to join. The LSTC tennis club membership year for mini / junior players begins on April 1st and runs until March 31st each year. Membership fees will be pro rata depending on how far into the year you join. Membership will need to be in place before attending the first session of the course.

  • Our DRH tennis coaching courses at Letchworth Sports & Tennis Club run termly. The terms mirror the school terms with Spring, Summer and Autumn. Each course runs weekly with the exception of the half terms and school holidays. 
     


    The courses are split by age group and standard.

    AGE GROUPS:
    Mini Tots - Ages 3/4
    Mini Red - Ages 5-8
    Mini Orange - Ages 8/9
    Mini Green - Ages 10
    Junior - Ages 11-17
    Adults for those ages 18+. 

    LEVELS:
    Club - Either new to tennis or still learning the basics. Not yet able to play matches.

    Development - Can understand and perform all the basics in tennis and is of a level to start playing matches.

    Team - Has experience in playing matches and also plays more than once per week. Ideally including 1to1 lessons. 

    Performance - The LSTC performance programme is by invitation only and is for players competing regularly, training multiple times per week and having 1to1 lessons. For those players booked onto our Matchplay sessions please click HERE to view the Spring 2023 Matchplay schedule.

    Course payments - Payments for courses at Letchworth Sports and Tennis Club are made in advance and termly. If a player joins after a term has commenced then the course fees will be calculated on a pro rata basis. Courses can be paid for using Credit/Debit card, Wallet funds or Childcare Vouchers / Tax Free Childcare (exemptions may apply, please see our Ts & Cs). 

    DRH Sports Terms & Conditions

  • The Summer term 2026 at Letchworth Tennis Club runs for 16 weeks (from April 13th - July 26th) with the classes running through the May school half term.

    The course prices shown on the page below are adjusted each week to reflect the number of classes remaining in the term. If you join part way through the term you'll only pay for the classes that are left.
